Why Choose Us?

Our nomination for the prestigious Louisiana Le Cajun awards - the Cajun Grammy - speaks clearer than we can . Our band members have all played in some of the most prestigious venues in Louisiana and are steeped in Cajun culture and music - two virtually live there and one is an honorary member of a Cajun music family. The only thing more Cajun is a Cajun!

In Carol Wilson we have one of the finest female Cajun singers this side of the Atlantic. Phil has been taught by and played with some of the greatest Cajun musicians around, Jim has studied the fiddle playing of Dennis McGee and both he and our guitarist Simon accompanied the great Eddie LeJeune (right) during his last European tour .

Two of us are experienced Cajun dance teachers and we can offer a Cajun dance workshop separately or as part of a package. The band has a high quality PA (Spirit mixer, Peavey speakers, Shure/AT mikes, Laney monitors) suitable for small to medium venues. We get to our gigs on time, we don't drink too much on stage, we are polite to the sound engineers and we play our socks off.

What Events can we Play?

We play for dance clubs, arts centres, town centres, festivals, weddings, corporate events, private parties, in fact anything anywhere in Britain, Europe, Louisiana or the world. We've played at a monastery and Phil once played with a previous band in the hold of the Cutty Sark clipper ship to an audience of ships' figureheads!
